Chapter 3 - Journals' Sidebar
In Lesson 2.4 Settings, we learned about customizing your MRSweb with the use of Settings. In Lesson 2.7 Sidebar, we learned more about the Sidebar in MRSweb. The Sidebar setting is not available on the Home page, but is available in all other areas of MRSweb.
! In Settings, check "Landscape" to make sure the Sidebar appears in your pages.
The Journals' Sidebar provides a calendar, page view options, an Open Date, and more.
Desktop view (below) shows the Sidebar on the left side of your screen.
Click or tap "Journals" on the Menu bar to access the Sidebar.

- Open Date - the date when the journal was initially entered into the system - click or tap on the down arrow next to Open Date to view your options: - Due Date - when the activity is to be completed - Created On - when the journal was started - Last Modified - when the journal was last edited - Today - move to today's date - click or tap on your preference - a checkmark will appear next to your selection - Journals Type and Access Level - the list of journals on display - Journals - all journals you have access to - My Journals - only the journals you've entered - Public Journals - all your journals with Public access - Shared Journals - all your journals with Shared access - Private Journals - all your journals with Private access - Data views - the format in which you view your journals - Grid - spreadsheet format - column headers with rows below; scroll up and down to view next journal - List - block format - information is contained in a single block; scroll up and down to view next journal - Cards - file card format - information is contained in a file card block; scroll left, right, up, and down to view next journal - Charts - displays information in chart form - Calendar - displays journals in your calendar by day, week, month, year, or in an agenda format - Tab bar - menu bar buttons - Click or tap on any of the icons to take you to (left to right): - Contacts - Customers - Accounts - Projects - Activity - Apps (more options) - Settings |
