Whatever the reason you need to update the categories for multiple companies. In MRSware you can easily change a company's or contact's category either individually or in bulk.
There may be times when you want to reassign a company's or contact's categories. They may have changed buying groups or may have changed buying levels from a manufacturer - e.g. Bronze to Silver - or they may now be a "A" prospect instead of a "C" prospect because of a new line you just picked up.

Q: I set up a few more system types to categorize my customers, i.e.
distributor, OEM, End-user, etc. However, I noticed that when I started entering invoices they had to be switched back to "Customer" type. How can I fix that? A: The System Types are more fixed than how you are trying to use them. Think of System Type as the big umbrella description of how a company fits into the financial picture -- they are a line you represent (Principal); a company that buys from one of your Principals (Customer); a potential customer (Prospect for Opportunities); etc. If you want to add a category to all the contacts at a company you can now use our easy, new feature Bulk Update Contact(s) Categories.
