The settings will vary for each company, so if you are unsure about your specific settings contact email@example.com. As a general guidline, the settings will be as follows:
POP3 server address = [yourdomain].mrsware.com
SMTP server address = [yourdomain].mrsware.com
Username = [your full e-mail address]
Password = [your POP3 password]
The [yourdomain] part is replaced by your domain name, typically matching your e-mail address. For example, for firstname.lastname@example.org the domain name would be eyond, so you would use eyond.mrsware.comas the server address. To further the example, the rest of our settings would look like:
POP3 server address = eyond.mrsware.com
SMTP server address = eyond.mrsware.com
Username = email@example.com
Password = abc1234
The particular way to enter these settings will vary depending on your software program/device interface. Consult your software/device user manual for specifics. As a help to Outlook and Outlook Express users, we put together the attached guide.
Outgoing e-mail requires authentication. To send e-mail out through the MRSware mail servers, users need to authenticate themselves. The Username and Password are the same as the incoming, POP3, settings. You should see this option in the account setup area for your device, perhaps under the "Advanced" options menu (depends on your software).
