1. AI Smart Paste
When you receive an order confirmation or acknowledgment email from a manufacturer, you no longer need to type each field manually:
- Copy the entire unstructured text or email body to your clipboard.
- In MRSweb, open Quick Add and select the AI Paste tab.
- Paste the text into the AI Data Input field and press Tab (or tap outside the field).
- Gemini analyzes the text and instantly extracts PO numbers, order numbers, invoice dates, and sales amounts.
- Automatic Entity Resolution: The system automatically resolves Manufacturers, Customers, and Sales Rep split rates using fuzzy-matching against your live database.
2. AI File Content Extraction (Multimodal Vision)
Got a PDF invoice, customer purchase order, or a smartphone photo of a packing slip? Use multimodal computer vision extraction:
- Click or tap the AI File tab in Quick Add.
- Select or drag-and-drop your document (supports PDF, PNG, JPG up to 5 MB).
- Processing begins automatically upon selection. Gemini's multimodal vision analyzes the visual layout, line item tables, shipping terms, and financial totals.
- Data fields are automatically populated into the Quick Add form in under 5 seconds.
AI data is pre-populated into the Quick Add tab for your visual inspection. Review all fields, make any minor adjustments, and tap Save to commit the verified transaction.
