The Quotes & Estimating module in MRSware Desktop (EYOND.MRSware.Modules.Quotes) delivers high-velocity commercial estimating, bill-of-materials pricing, proposal generation, and quote conversion for manufacturers' representative agencies. Purpose-built for multi-vendor commercial construction, OEM, and industrial bids, Quotes allows reps to assemble multi-line product packages, compute gross margin percentages, track bid revisions, print customer proposals, and execute one-click conversion into active orders or factory invoices.
Press Ctrl+N to create a new Quote, Ctrl+E to edit the selected bid, Del to delete, or use the Convert button to turn a won quote directly into an Order or Invoice.

Permissions & Navigation
- Required Base Permission:
MRSware/Quotes– Controls access to quotes listings, proposal forms, and conversions. - Sub-Permissions:
MRSware/Quotes/Edit(enables quote authoring and pricing changes) andMRSware/Quotes/Delete(enables deletion). - Opening Quotes: Click Quotes on the Shortcut Bar or select Modules → Quotes.
Quote Listing Table (QuoteListingTable)
The Quote Listing Table displays all active and historical estimates:
- Quote Number & Revision: Formatted quote tracking ID and revision code (e.g.
Q-2026-104-RevB). - Customer & Contact: Targeted purchasing contractor, distributor, or OEM account.
- Project Link: Associated commercial construction project.
- Status Pipeline: Visual status tags (Draft, Sent, Under Review, Won / Awarded, Lost, Expired).
- Financial Totals: Total Quoted Amount, Total Cost, Total Gross Margin, and Estimated Commission.
Multi-Vendor Line Items, Catalog Quick Add & Margins
The quote editor features high-speed line item entry powered by the Product Catalog:
- Quick Add Autocomplete: Type a part number; description, unit of measure, factory cost, and standard sell price populate instantly.
- Free-Form Custom Items: Enter non-catalog engineered items, custom fabrication fees, or field freight surcharges on the fly.
- Margin / Markup Lock: Lock either the margin percentage or markup factor. Adjusting either sell price or cost automatically recalculates the counterpart.
One-Click Conversion to Orders & Invoices
When the customer issues a purchase order, click Convert → Create Order or Convert → Create Invoice on the quote toolbar. MRSware creates the new record, transfers all line items and pricing, archives the quote as Won, and logs a permanent cross-reference link between the Quote and the Order.
