0% Incoming e-mail that has not been pre-filtered will receive a 0% sender verification rating. This is most typically seen if the sending mail server has bypassed the proper route to send e-mail to a Users domain. Setting the Sender Verification Threshold to 0% will place all incoming e-mail in the Inbox. This setting is not recommended unless the User is intentionally disabling the MRSware Spam filtering (such would be the case for User who are exclusively using Outlook or another e-mail client for e-mail, and not the MRSware e-mail client).
100% Incoming e-mail from other MRSware Users will receive a 100% sender verification rating. Setting the Sender Verification Threshold to 100% effectively places all e-mail in the Spam folder except for e-mail addresses and domains in the Allowed Senders list (and the aforementioned other MRSware Users). This setting is equivalent to an "exclusive" setting on some other e-mail systems. Selecting a percentage between 51% and 100% will achieve this level of Sender Verification.
In all cases, a From address or domain in the Allowed Senders list will be placed in the Inbox. Likewise, a From address or domain in the Blocked Senders list will always be placed in the Spam folder.
To adjust the Sender Verification Threshold on a mailbox, right-click on that mailbox (not the folders under the mailbox, but the mailbox itself) and choose "Options". From here, the User can slide the indicator left or right to allow through less or more e-mail messages. Administrators can adjust the Sender Verification Threshold for all mailboxes from the System Administration screen.
