When getting started in MRSware you will want everyone in your company to be consistent in how they use MRSware so it will be easier to find specific groups or segments of your companies, contacts, journals, appointments, tasks etc. You do this by creating attributes, such as System types, various other types, categories, close reasons, sales phases, labels, etc and assigning these attributes to your Companies, Contacts, Appointments, Journals, Tasks, Expense Reports, Files in File Share and Opportunities in Opportunity Tracking. Once these attributes are created and assigned, everyone needs to know how to make the appropriate selections. This brings consistency and order to your system.

MRSware has the capability to import and enter invoice line item details. It also has the ability to report on those details through Data Analysis and the Customer Snapshot report.
But what does it take to get this kind of information into the system? We are often asked how to delete data - a customer who has gone out of business or a manufacturer who is no longer represented – from MRSware. This is a thorny issue, one that has repercussions beyond the information appearing in a current report.
Should you retain the data or should it be deleted from your MRSware system? Let's look at the issue from both sides. |
